this is such a cute and sweet photo!

i've looked through your entire gallery and i wanted to know what you do to get such an amazing look to some of your photos. they almost look as if they are drawings.

I actually experimented a lot in Paint Shop Pro Photo X2, trying out different effects, etc. I'm still trying different things out, seeing what works and what doesn't. What I often do is the vintage effect, which is one layer filled with dark blue and set to lighten>about 50%, and one layer filled with beige and set to multiply>about 60-80%, it varies. After that I merge and mess around with the hue/saturation, followed by changing the colour balance to my liking. I use the clarify tool, too, but not always. It's really just trying out different things depending on the photo. Thanks for asking!
